In what was described as a midnight raid by the Malaysia Immigration Police, 52 Nigerians have been arrested and are now awaiting deportation.
According to reports, the Immigration police raided houses that were occupied by Nigerians, and properties were destroyed in the process.
Clothed or naked, the Nigerians who were unfortunate enough to be at home during the raid were arrested. Although it was reported that those who weren’t home had their houses ransacked and vandalised.

A hysterical passenger was dragged off a North Carolina-bound U.S. Airways flight on Sunday after she ignored orders to put her cellphone away and cursed at TSA agents.
Lindsay Capri Bien-Aime, 21, unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade on agents and attendants in front of her toddler son after they tried to escort her off the plane at Fort Lauderdale airport, WCNC reported.
A passenger a few rows in front of Bien-Aime recorded the incident on her cellphone.

John Olumba is a 31-year old Nigerian running for mayor of the city of Detroit in Michigan. He is a lawyer, an ordained pastor and he is currently a State of Michigan House Representative.
According to wikipedia, he is the first Nigerian elected to a state office in Michigan history. His dad is from Owerri in Imo State.

Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud changed the kingdom’s official work week to Sunday through Thursday, citing “lost economic opportunities” from being out of synch with the rest of the world on the Saudi weekend.

China has executed a former official of the ruling Communist Party after he was convicted of molesting 11 underage girls, state media reports.
44-year-old Li Xingong was executed after he was found guilty by a court in the central city of Yongcheng, Henan province, state broadcaster China Central Television quoted court officials as saying on Wednesday.
